The European Union intends to allocate 55 million euros in aid to Ukraine to increase the efficiency of public finance management.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, this was announced by EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli during a conference in Kyiv.

Mingarelli said one of the purposes of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, which will come into full effect in September 2017, is providing aid to Ukraine in public management.

For that, everything should be done to achieve efficient public finance management, Mingarelli said.
