 Police apprehended two "Azov" soldiers for first-degree murders, - Matios

Last week police apprehended two soldiers of the ''Azov'' National Guard Regiment for homicide.

This was announced by Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios, Censor.NET reports citing ZIK TV Channel.

"Last week we have apprehended two soldiers of the "Azov" National Guard Regiment for committing a violent act, namely murders," he said.

The military prosecutor did not report the details of the incident and who were the victims of the military. Though he said the suspects have not served at the frontline but at the third line of defense.

''The murders were committed with intent, they were not domestic. These are terrible things, and they can not be made public daily, because they undermine the faith in those who defended the state. "Azov" was among those who released Mariupol," Matios said.

"The level of violent crimes by those who legally own weapons does not diminish. The combination of post-traumatic syndrome with the absence of a change in a "picture" leads to the fact that the brains just melt. And all this happens against the war background," he explained.
