 Seven Ukrainian servicemen wounded yesterday, - ATO HQ

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone remains tense as the militants attack Armed Forces of Ukraine with heavy artillery.

48 militants' attacks reported over the past 24 hours. Seven servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were wounded, Censor.NET reports citing ATO Headquarters.

In the Prymorske sector, the militants launched 12 attacks against Ukrainian military. Last night, the militants shelled Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne strongholds with 120 mm mortars. Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka were mortared with 82 mm shells. The militants also fired from grenade launchers and small arms.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants violated the cease-fire 22 times. The most difficult situation remains in the southern and eastern suburbs of Avdiivka where the militants have fired from 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. Ukrainian military near Nevelske came under 120 mm mortar fire twice. Verkhniotoretske strongholds were fired from mortars, IFVs, and small arms. At Svitlodarsk salient, the militants fired at Ukrainian servicemen near Luhanske from 82 mm shells and heavy antitank grenade launchers. Pisky strongholds came under grenade launcher fire.

In the Luhansk sector, 14 attacks reported over the past 24 hours, including the use of weapons banned by the Minsk agreements. The militants shelled Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka and Troitske strongholds with 120 mm mortars. Ukrainian positions near Krymske were attacked with 82 mm mortars, anti-tank missile systems and grenade launchers.
