Rada Committee on national security and defense at its meeting considered implementation of the newest mechanisms for providing military and law enforcers with housing.

Censor.NET correspondent reports.

The project was presented by head of the board of the state mortgage department Andrii Kamuz. According to him, the goal of the project is to enable the military to obtain mortgage for housing and become its owner after 20 years of leasing. The MoD and the Interior Ministry will be offering locations and the lists of employees who want to use the program. The sales will take place through Prozorro procurement system in order to control the price and gradually make it lower.

"It will allow acting employees to buy housing, those who came to serve and understand that if they do get enrolled in the program, in 20 years of service they will have their own apartment."
