Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"Searches and other investigative actions are underway in Kryvyi Rih under the case against a crime ring that was engaged in large-scale embezzlement. It was also found that the crime ring members threatened to kill certain officials of the City Council.
"The collected evidence allowed to serve indictments to the following suspects: First Deputy Mayor Udod; unofficial owner of Budinvest Ltd. Mykhalenko; City Council's Architecture and Urban Development Department Head Hnatovskyi; Head of the State Architectural and Construction Supervision Department of the City Council Lysenko; Budinvest Ltd. CEO Steblianko," he said.
"We are putting some of these people on the wanted list and obtaining warrants for their arrest. I call on local residents, business owners and city officials to give testimony about unknown offenses committed by these and other members of the crime ring. Kryvyi Rih must be cleared out," Lutsenko added.
