Russian occupation troops continue neglecting the Minsk agreements.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) HQ press center on Facebook.

The HQ said that recently, Ukrainian troopers prevented another attempt to advance by the militants. Russia-supported separatist forces partially occupied new positions in the grey area in Pisky, close to temporarily occupied Ukrainian city of Donetsk.

"At first, the militants opened fire from all kinds of small arms. Then, the enemy artillery started firing, covering an assault by the terrorists. Our troopers were ready and opened fire from small arms and grenade launchers. Having entered the grey area, the enemy units felt strong resistance and stopped. Another offensive has been terminated," the report reads.

Paratroopers' commander, callsign 'Fanat,' said the enemy has been assaulting Ukrainian positions all the time and got more active after the 'winter sleep.' Currently, the militants are conducting engineering and strengthening their positions. Three days ago, three Ukrainian troopers were wounded in a mortar attack by the enemy.

"We abide by the Minsk agreements, and never open fire first. Only when there is a real threat to life and health of our military, we are forced to suppress the fire by the enemy. We only use allowed calibers," 'Fanat' said.

He added the enemy uses drones for its reconnaissance all the time. During nights, sabotage and recon groups of the enemy operate, he said.
