Poroshenko commented on Sheremet's assassination during the press-conference, Censor.NET reports.
"I knew and loved Pavlo. I can say that we were friends. This terrorist attack, this cynical murder shocked me," the president said.
Poroshenko said that after the assassination he asked foreign embassies for an assistance. FBI representatives, in particular explosion experts and forensic experts, were involved into this case.
''I am not satisfied that we have not found the killer yet and brought him to the court," Poroshenko said.
He thanked the journalists who conducted their own investigation and promised that all materials will be attached to the case.
