Turchynov noted that the Ukrainian exposition, representing aircraft, armored vehicles, small arms, artillery and missile systems, is the largest in the history of the country's independence.
"Great interest has been provoked by a Ukraine-designed dynamic protection that saves a combat vehicle from a direct projectile hit. Moreover, the exhibition has no analog to the unmanned armored personnel carrier Fantom capable of accurately detecting and destroying a target, conducting reconnaissance, and taking out injured fighters under extremely complicated and dangerous conditions," Turchynov said, adding that much heed is also being given to the new developments of Antonov state enterprise.
"Ukrainian weapons get tested in real combat, and representatives of many countries are interested in them. I hope that both the defense industry concern and all our defense enterprises will find new customers, new partners both for joint production and for the sale of their products," Turchynov stressed.
The NSDC secretary told journalists that Ukraine and Turkey have many promising joint projects in the military sphere.
