The pro-Kremlin march in Dnipro became possible due to the failure of local patriotic organizations and parties to take part in the celebration of Victory Day.

Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko said on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Regarding the events in Dnipro: 1. Yesterday, eight identified titushkas [mercenary thugs - ed.] that attacked anti-terrorist operation participants were detained. They will be brought to justice. 2. An investigation has been launched to establish the organizer and the source of their financing. 3. The investigation is also looking into the shameful cooperation of National Police personnel with titushkas. 4. The pro-Kremlin march became possible due to the failure of patriotic organizations and parties to take part in the celebration of OUR VICTORY," Lutsenko said.

As reported, on May 9, clashes occurred near the Monument of Glory in Dnipro. After pro-Ukrainian activists demanded to remove political and proscribed insignia - St. George ribbons, communist flags, etc. - a group of young people, who came to the monument together with Opposition Bloc MP Oleksandr Vilkul, attacked the activists and ATO soldiers.
