Ukraine's NCB submitted a copy of the General Secretariat's decision to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.

As reported, Yanukovych was put on the international wanted list in January 2015. The information about the ex-president disappeared from Interpol's databases in July 2015. Ukrainian NCB reported that Yanukovych was on Interpol's wanted list, but public access to his file was limited pending hearing of a complaint filed by Yanukovych against his alleged prosecution by Ukrainian authorities on political grounds.
