On May 1, 2017, a decree by Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine enters into force on lowering the norms of social consumption of heat, electricity, and gas. These norms are set for the purpose of calculating subsidies for citizen consumers, Censor.NET reports citing UNIAN.
The Cabinet has reviewed the norms in accordance with factual consumption levels.
The decree stipulates for lowering the following norms for consumption: from 5.5 to 5 cubic meters of gas per 1 square meter of area; from 0,0548 Gcal to 0.0431 per 1 square meter of heated area during the heating season, and from 65 kWh to 51 kWh of electricity per 1 square meter of heated area during the heating season.
