This was announced by minister for temporarily occupied territories and IDPs Vadym Chernysh, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"From the humanitarian point of view, Ukraine cannot and will not resort to it. In fact, during this entire period it was the Ukrainian side that supported the functioning of the water supply system that serves our citizens on both sides from the demarcation line," he said on air of a Ukrainian TV channel.
Chernysh said the water supplying plant delivered 90 percent of all water supplies to the non-controlled areas. Now this share has decreased to 70 percent.
The minister said the company that orders delivery of water to the occupied areas operates within Ukrainian legal framework.
