Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said at a meeting of the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity, Censor.NET reports.
"Information aggression is one of the most dangerous components of the hybrid warfare employed by Russia against us, and therefore blocking the destructive influence of separatist and Russian information propaganda in the ATO zone is one of our priorities," Turchynov said.
According to him, the leadership of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection has reported on a detailed information security plan intended to "block anti-Ukrainian TV and radio broadcast along the contact line in the ATO zone."
Given the urgency of this task, the NSDC secretary addressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman with a proposal to secure resources from the government reserve fund necessary for the implementation of the plan.
"The equipment offered by the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection is produced in Ukraine. It effectively copes with assigned tasks and is cheaper than its foreign equivalents," Turchynov noted.
As previously reported, the Russian military recorded a staged video about an alleged clash with a Ukrainian "sabotage group" in the vicinity of Sokilnyky village in the Luhansk region and circulated it on the Russian media.
