 Russian proxies mortar-shelled Ukrainian troops’ positions near Vodiane, Avdiivka, Butivka mine, - ATO HQ

The Russian-occupation forces continue inviting retaliation of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) troops. One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and one was wounded as the militants committed 23 attacks on the strong points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the occupied Donbas today.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center.

"The highest intensity of attacks was recorded in Prymorske direction. The enemy employed 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms against marines deployed in the vicinity of Vodiane.

"Defenders of Shyrokyne and Novotroitske were shelled with grenade launchers of various systems. Defenders of Hnutove were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns. The enemy attacked positions on the outskirts of Talakivka with small arms. Enemy sniper committed attacks near Novotroitske.

"Positions of the ATO forces near Avdiivka in Donetsk direction were blanketed with 82 mm mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers. The enemy shelled defenders of Butivka mine with 82 mm mortars. The strongpoints near Kamianka and Novhorodske were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns. Sniper activity was recorded in the vicinity of Avdiivka.

"In Luhansk direction, the Russian occupation troops shelled strongpoints near Zhovte village with automatic grenade launchers and fired upon positions in the vicinity of Valuiske with small arms," the situation report reads.
