As reported by Censor.NET, Verkhovna Rada MP and a member of Ukrainian delegation to PACE Volodymyr Ariev wrote on Facebook.
"The visit of PACE president to Syria and corruption charges against him caused the biggest ever uproar among the Assembly members. Many delegates demand his resignation, but first they want to hear Agramunt's explanations that he must provide immediately," he wrote.
Earlier, First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko said that Agramunt should bear political responsibility for his actions.
As reported, the PACE president visited Syria together with members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on March 20.
