Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) HQ press center.
"Over the past day, the enemy carried out 34 attacks on Ukraine's army strong points," the message reads.
In the Donetsk sector, Ukrainian troops around Troitske were hit by 120 mm, 82 mm mortars, various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. 120 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were used against defenders of Avdiivka. Positions outside Pisky, Luhanske and Novoselivka Druha were pounded by 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers. Strong points in the area of Butivka mine and Nevelske came under grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire as small arms were used around Zaitseve. IFV weaponry was employed against ATO forces near Luhanske, sniper activity was registered around Avdiivka.
In the Mariupol sector, ATO forces near Taramchuk and Marinka were caught in 82 mm mortar and ATGL fire. Militants used APC weaponry, automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Hnutove, small arms near Shyrokyne. Snipers harassed positions of Ukrainian marines in the vicinity of Vodiane and Pavlopil.
In the Luhansk sector, 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were fired towards Novozvanivka. Strong points near Stanytsia Luhanska came under IFV and grenade launcher fire, APC weaponry and automatic grenade launchers were used outside Novooleksandrivka. Grenade launchers and small arms were fired at defenders of Valuiske.
As previously reported, militants committed 46 attacks on ATO forces on April 22.
