"I express my condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased representative of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, and I wish the wounded to recover as soon as possible. I gave the instructions and Ukrainian doctors are ready to provide all the necessary assistance," he wrote.
''This crime must be investigated and the responsible must be punished. I had instructed the Foreign Minister to stay in constant contact with the OSCE," Poroshenko wrote.
The president stressed that Ukrainian side condemns all forms of permanent obstruction of the OSCE SMM work by the militants.
The OSCE SMM patrol was driving in the vicinity of the village of Pryshyb, an area not controlled by the government in the Luhansk region. As a result of the accident, one patrol member died and two members were taken to hospital.
