 Avdiivka, Donetsk water filtration station and сoke plant de-energized again

The city of Avdiivka, Donetsk water filtration station (DFS), as well as the Avdiivka coke plant (ACP) and the Donetsk filtering station were left without electricity once again.

Director general of Avdiivka coke plant Musa Mahomedov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Avdiivka, DFS and ACP are supplied by an emergency power unit. We are waiting for the permission of the Joint Center on Control and Coordination (JCCC) to start repair works," Mahomedov wrote.

The fighting in the vicinity of Avdiivka has been underway since Jan. 28.

After three days, Ukrainian soldiers managed to take enemy positions and improved their tactical set-up in the area. Unfortunately, casualties were reported among the military.

On Jan. 30, enemy strikes left the government-controlled town of Avdiivka without electricity, water and heat.

In the evening of Jan. 30, a state of emergency was declared in Avdiivka.

On Feb.4, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine reported on the militants' attacks at workers repairing the Donetsk water filtration station.
