Spokesman for the Main Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region Mykola Zhukovych told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.
According to him, the investigation has failed to identify anyone who could possibly commit the murder.
Law enforcers concluded it was a suicide.
The case was closed in April 2017.
In late August 2014, Semeniuk-Samsonenko was found dead in her house in the village of Chaiky outside Kyiv. Suicide was cited as preliminary cause of death.
