As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO HQ press center on Facebook.
"The situation in the ATO area is aggravating. Over the past 24-hour period Russian occupation troops units opened fire upon Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions 32 times. The seaside direction remains the epicenter of the fire," the report reads.
The HQ says the seaside direction saw fire in Novohryhorivka conducted from 120 mm mortars and IFV weapons. Chermalyk defenders came under 82 mm mortar fire. Marinka was shelled from large caliber mortars. Marines stationed at Vodiane area were impacted from IFV weapon, anti-tank grenade launchers and large caliber machine guns. Shyrokyne, Talakivka, and Pavlopil came under grenade launcher and small arms fire. In addition, a sniper was active in Talakivka and Vodiane.
"In Donetsk direction, positions at Avdiivka area were impacted from 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns of large caliber. Anti-tank grenade launchers, large caliber machine guns, and small arms were used by the enemy to fire upon stronghold at Butivka mine. Defenders of Kamianka came under machine guns and small arms fire," the report reads.
In Luhansk direction, the Russian militants shelled positions at Katerynivka from 82 mm mortars and automated grenade launchers. Strongholds in Novooleksandrivka were impacted from anti-tank grenade launchers.
As reported, Russian troops shelled Ukrainian positions 22 times on April 16.
