As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by deputy minister on temporarily occupied territories Yurii Hrymchak on air of NewsOne.
He said Ukraine used to buy and continues buying coal K from Russia.
"We were lacking coal K back before the war," he said.
Hrymchak said Ukraine will see the first freights of the power generating coal from the Republic of South Africa in early summer. Ukraine will also increase extraction of its own gas coal.
The deputy minister said the modernization of thermal power plants will yield positive results.
