 Prosecutor general dismisses ill-famed PGO investigator Sus, - media

Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko dismissed major crimes investigator of the Main Investigation Directorate of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) Dmytro Sus.

A source in the Prosecutor General's Office told Liga, Censor.NET reports.

According to the source, Lutsenko fired Sus on April 13.

Sus has been a major crimes investigator of the 6th Criminal Investigation Department of the PGO's Main Investigation since Nov. 30, 2016. This department is headed by Yurii Hryshchenko.

Prior to that, Sus was a member of the PGO's department investigating major frauds also known as the "pocket department" of Kononenko and Hranovskyi (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction MPs Ihor Kononenko and Oleksandr Hranovskyi who are reputed to have been influencing this department of PGO - Ed.).

Lutsenko earlier reprimanded Sus for not mentioning his luxury Audi Q7 in the tax return.

In August 2016, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported about an attempt to search an agency office by the PGO investigators headed by Sus. The court issued the search warrant under the case of April 22, 2016 initiated into illegal wiretapping of a suspect in a criminal case by NABU detectives.
