Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Headquarters press center.
"The greatest number of attacks was recorded on the outskirts of Vodiane village in Prymorske direction. The marines deployed in this area came under enemy strikes with 122 mm artillery, 120 mm mortars, and IFV guns. The defenders of Shyrokyne were fired upon with 120 mm mortars, IFV weapons, and grenade launchers. The adversary shelled marines deployed near Hnutove with 120 mm mortars. Our soldiers near Chermalyk were fired at with large-caliber machine guns. The enemy snipers intensified attacks in the vicinity of Talakivka and Vodiane.
"In Donetsk direction, the defenders of Avdiivka came under 120 mm and 82 mm mortar strikes. The soldiers defending Luhanske and Opytne villages were shelled with 82 mm mortars. The enemy employed grenade launchers, IFV weapons, and anti-tank missile system against the strong points of our troops near Opytne. Positions near Nevelske were shelled with grenade launchers while small arms were used near Butivka mine.
"In Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled the defenders of Novooleksandrivka and Katerynivka with grenade launchers of various systems," the situation report reads.
