 Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded in 23 attacks committed by Russian proxies in Donbas today, - ATO Staff

The Russian-terrorist forces continue blatantly breaching truce in Ukraine’s east. Two Ukrainian servicemen have been injured as the enemy has committed 23 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the day.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

"The militants fired upon our positions in the vicinity of Vodiane village near the city of Mariupol with weapons of infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns.

"The enemy attacked our soldiers deployed near Marinka with grenade launchers, anti-aircraft guns, and large-caliber machine guns. The adversary employed grenade launchers against positions near Novotroitske and large-caliber machine guns against the defenders of Chermalyk and Krasnohorivka.

"Defenders of Shyrokyne came under attack with small arms. The enemy snipers' activity was recorded on the outskirts of Novotroitske, Vodiane, and Krasnohorivka.

"The militants fired at positions near the village of Opytne in the Donetsk direction with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, IFV weapons and grenade launchers.

"82 mm mortars, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers of various systems, and large-caliber machine guns were employed against our troops' positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka.

"The enemy attacked strong points near Pisky with 82 mm mortars, IFV weapons, grenade launchers of various systems, and large-caliber machine guns.

"The militants fired at defenders of Zaitseve village with grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.

"In Luhansk direction, positions near Krymske village were shelled with 120 mm mortars, positions near Katerynivka -with grenade launchers," the situation report reads.
