 64 attacks recorded on April 10, involving mortars, grenade launchers and IFVs, - ATO Staff

Over the past day, militants committed 64 attacks in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.

Censor.NET reports referring to the ATO Staff press center.

"The situation in the ATO area is escalating. Over the past day, Russian occupation forces committed 64 attacks on Ukrainian positions," the report says.

In the Mariupol sector, attacks on Vodiane involved 122 mm artillery, 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and IFV weaponry. Defenders of Novotroitske came under 120 mm mortar and grenade launcher fire. Attacks on strong points near Berezove, Marinka and Krasnohorivka involved 82 mm mortars, various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Positions outside Hnutove and Hranitne were hit by anti-tank grenade launchers. Defenders of Hnutove and Talakivka came under heavy machine gun and IFV fire. Marines around Shyrokyne were attacked with small arms. Sniper activity was registered near Marinka.

In the Donetsk sector, Butivka mine was attacked with 120 mm mortars and heavy machine guns. Defenders of Avdiivka and Opytne were sprayed by 82 mm mortars, various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Strong points near Zaitseve, Pisky and Luhanske were attacked with grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Positions in the area of Kamianka were hit by heavy machine guns and small arms.

In the Luhansk sector, defenders of Krymske and Yekaterynivka were hit by 82 mm mortars, positions around Valuiske, Stanytsia Luhanska and Donets came under grenade launcher attack. Strong points in the area of Lobacheve were attacked with small arms.
