The Russian occupation troops continue inviting retaliation of Ukrainian soldiers in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in 28 attacks committed by the militants on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine today.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center.

"The enemy fired upon the defenders of Novotroitske village near Mariupol with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and weapons of infantry fighting vehicles.

"Positions near Berezove village were attacked with 82 mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns. Grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns were employed against defenders of Hnutove, Vodiane, and Marinka. The enemy snipers' activity was recorded on the outskirts of Marinka and Novotroitske.

"The enemy fired upon our positions near Avdiivka in Donetsk direction with 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, and large-caliber machine guns. The militants attacked defenders of Butivka mine with 120 mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns. Grenade launchers and small arms were employed against positions near Zaitseve.

"In Luhansk directions, positions near Krymske village were shelled with 82 mm mortars. The strong points in the vicinity of Stanytsia Luhanska and Donets were fired at with grenade launchers and small arms," the situation report reads.
