 44 attacks registered April 9, enemy used 120 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and IFVs, - ATO Staff

Militants continue attacks on Ukrainian positions along the entire contact line in the Donbas.

Most attacks were recorded in the Mariupol sector. The enemy hit Ukrainian troops around Novotroitske with 120 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers and IVF cannon. Defenders of Vodiane, Lebedynske and Krasnohorivka came under grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire. Strong points near Hnutove and Novohnativka were attacked with grenade launchers, while those near Pavlopil and Novomykhailivka - with heavy machine guns. IFV weaponry and small arms were used against marines around Shyrokyne. Positions near Novohryhorivka came under IFV fire, small arms were used against defenders of Talakivka and Chermalyk.

In the Donetsk sector, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were fired on defenders of Avdiivka and Butivka mine. Attacks on positions around Verkhniotoretske and Zaitseve involved anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms. Enemy snipers were active near Pisky.

In the Luhansk sector, 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were employed against Ukrainian strongholds in the area of Novozvanivka. Attacks on Troitske, Krymske and Stanytsia Luhanska involved various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. Defenders of Novotoshkivka came under heavy machine gun fire.

As previously reported, militants committed 59 attacks against Ukrainian troops on April 8.
