Ill-known Russian terrorist Erkin Ismanov (call sign Kedr) who arrived in the Donbas from Moscow in 2014 and joined militants of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” (aka “DPR”) was eliminated in a clash with the Ukrainian military on the outskirts of Pikuzy village (former Kominternove) on April 3. Separatists say Ismanov allegedly came under mortar strike.
Before the war, Ismanov lived in Moscow and occasionally took bit parts in Russian movies and TV series. Besides, Ismanov was known to have a criminal record. He served a sentence in a colony.
The Russian "Donbas Volunteers' Union" NGO reported the elimination of the terrorist. Information was also confirmed by spokesperson for "DPR" militants Eduard Basurin. Ismanov was frequently shown in propaganda stories of the Russian "news outlets." The deceased native of Uzbekistan is reportedly survived by four children who live in the Russian Federation.
