 Poroshenko urges Russia to stop killing Ukrainian citizens and take back troops

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has called on Russia to stop killing Ukrainian citizens and remove its military from the occupied Donbas.

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, he stated this at a joint press conference with Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.

"Sanctions is the only motivation for Russia to sit down at the negotiating table. We want Russia to stop killing Ukrainian citizens and withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian territory," the head of state said.

"We have established democratic standards and freedoms in the country, and reforms have already begun. And the territory that will be liberated from Russian troops will see the reforms as well," the president added.
