The meeting was announced following a yesterday's phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President François Hollande, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"The position of the Russian Federation: unfortunately, the situation is aggravated by provocative actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the line of contact; the situation is aggravated by the fact that due to the continuing tension, the parties still can not remove heavy weapons, as prescribed by previously reached agreements. The cease-fire doesn't work, the regime of quiet is not there, economically the situation is worsened by the ongoing Donbas blockade," Peskov said.
He went on to say "the list is crowned with a fiasco in terms of implementing the Minsk agreements, Kyiv's reluctance to implement the political part of these accords."
