 Ukraine gets 600M euro in second tranche of EU's macro-financial assistance, - Poroshenko

The European Union has transferred the second tranche of macro-financial aid to Ukraine in the amount of 600 million euro.

"Today, the EU made the 2nd payment of 600 million euro to Ukraine as part of its macro-financial assistance to stabilize and reform our economy," the president wrote.

With this tranche, the total macro-financial assistance that the EU has extended to Ukraine since 2014 will reach 2.81 billion euro - the largest macro-financial assistance ever provided to any country outside the EU.

As previously reported, on March 16, the European Commission approved the allocation of Ukraine's next tranche of macro-financial assistance worth 600 million euro.
