Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine Barbara Manzi told journalists, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
According to her, the people who live near the line of contact are the most affected by the armed conflict so meeting the basic needs is vital for them.
Manzi also noted that 4 million people required assistance due to the military conflict in Ukraine's east. According to OCHA head, the lack of food, water, security and access to health care are the key challenges for these people.
