 One soldier wounded yesterday in 32 militants’ attacks on Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions, - Staff

The Russian occupation forces continue inviting Ukrainian troops’ retaliation despite the cease-fire deal reached by the Trilateral Contact Group. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in 32 attacks committed by the militants over the past 24-hour period.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press service.

"The greatest number of assaults was recorded in Mariupol direction. The enemy fired at positions of marines in the vicinity of Pavlopil with 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms were employed against defenders of Krasnohorivka. The invaders carried out attacks near Vodiane, Shyrokyne, and Chermalyk using grenade launchers, machine guns, and small arms.

"In Donetsk direction, the greatest number of attacks was recorded in Avdiivka whose defenders came under fire of 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, and large-caliber machine guns. Defenders of Zaitseve, Troitske and Butivka mine were shelled with grenade launchers. The adversary fired upon positions near Kamianka and Opytne with large-caliber machine guns. The enemy sniper attacks were recorded on the outskirts of Troitske.

"In Luhansk direction, the Russian-terrorist forces shelled the strong points of our troops near the village of Krymske with automatic grenade launchers. Small arms were employed against the defenders of Valuiske and Stanytsia Luhanska.

"The Ukrainian servicemen strictly observed the cease-fire deal and refrained from retaliation despite armed provocations committed by the enemy," the situation report reads.
