 Militants attacked ATO positions five times this morning, - press officer

Five cases of shelling have been recorded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area since the beginning of the day.

This was announced by the head of the ATO press center Yaroslav Chepurnyi, Censor.NET reports citing 112 TV Channel.

"Five cases of shelling have been reported since midnight. In four cases, the enemy fired at our defenders in the Mariupol sector: twice in the vicinity of Vodiane, once near Pavlopil and once near Shyrokyne. Moreover, the militant's attack was launched against the defenders of Avdiivka.

"Once the enemy used 120 mm mortars near Pavlopil. The militants also attacked the marines with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. In all other cases, the enemy used mainly small arms, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns," the press officer said.

According to Chepurnyi, no losses we reported among the Ukrainian soldiers.
