 'Accessible Medications' medicare launched in Ukraine, - Hroisman. VIDEO

According to the 'Accessible Medications' government program, the patients will be able to receive medications for free or with a small surcharge.

PM Volodymyr Hroisman wrote Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"'Accessible Medications' medicare launched today. Now patients will be able to receive medications for cardiovascular diseases, type II diabetes and bronchial asthma for free or with a small surcharge," he wrote.

Hroisman added that a patient will be able to exchange the prescription for free medicines in any pharmacy involved into the 'Accessible Medications' program.

According to a study conducted within the 'Priceless medicine' USAID project, almost 50% of Ukrainians postpone or refuse treatment due to the lack of funds.
