NABU Director Artem Sytnyk said on air of ZIK TV channel, Censor.NET reports.
"A check against Sadovyi was launched and is underway now... within our authority," he said.
"The Prosecutor General's Office took the initiative in investigating corruption risks in the work of the Lviv City Council. I also want to note we have not received a single complaint about abuses by city council officials in terms of garbage disposal. We analyzed the issue and wondered whether to join the process. But when we saw the PGO started to actively probe the matter, we decided to wait. If we receive information that will fall within our authority, then, of course, we'll join in," Sytnyk added.
