Search in National Bank’s office concerns agency’s leadership, NABU’s Sytnyk says

Today’s search by the detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in the office of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) concerns the senior officials of the authority.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was stated by NABU Director Artem Sytnyk on air of ZIK TV channel.

"This previously mentioned case concerns the NBU senior officials," he said.

"It's hard to call it a search in the conventional sense, because the NBU employees showed no resistance against the investigative actions. They accepted our employees and handed the documents requested by the detectives. The investigation into this case is underway," Sytnyk said.

As reported, the NABU detectives conducted a search in the office of the National Bank of Ukraine March 29 as part of the probe into officials abusing their positions in favor of several commercial banks.
