As reported by Censor.NET, this was said by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in an interview to Argumenty i Fakty newspaper.
"Russia is a peaceful country. We have no territorial claims to our neighbors. We seek to be surrounded by successful, prosperous states with which we would be able to develop relations in a good neighborly spirit," he said.
"However our efforts will continue to be aimed at preventing the "hot shots" in Kyiv from launching a new spike of violence in the country's south-east. Anyway, we will not leave Donbas residents in danger," the Russian Foreign Minister stressed.
