As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
"Joint efforts with NATO have been extremely important and yielded positive results at all levels, from drafting the strategic documents to training of Ukrainian military by trainers from NATO member countries," Poltorak said.
The defense minister reiterated that the president's approval of the Armed Forces of Ukraine development program by 2020 should significantly improve the course of the reform of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Poltorak thanked for counseling provided by foreign advisors from NATO member countries and said it would be necessary to maintain close contacts with the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine to urgently tackle current issues.
Director of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine Alexander Vinnikov positively assessed the outcomes of the cooperation and stressed the necessity to continue the dialogue.
