Anti-corruption protests held in Russia. VIDEO

The demonstrations are driven by opposition leader Alexei Navalny and focus on his recent claims that Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has amassed a collection of mansions, yachts and vineyards.

Russian protesters denouncing government corruption have gathered in cities across Russia. Some have scuffled with police, Censor.NET reports.

The protesters demand the resignation of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The detentions started after protesters unfurled banners reading "Corruption steals our future" and "The prime minister should answer".
