As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press center on its Facebook page.
"The situation in the ATO area is aggravating. Over the past 24-hour period, 94 attacks upon Ukraine's Armed Forces were recorded. Russian occupation troops, in violation of existing agreements, were shelling Ukrainian defenders with caliber of 100 mm and up. Fire contracts were recorded along the entire demarcation line," the report reads.
In Donetsk direction, the most fire assaults were committed upon positions at Avdiivka and Butivka mine. The enemy sprayed them with large caliber machine guns, grenade launchers of various systems, and 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. Russian troops employed 122 m cannon artillery upon defenders of Zaitseve. A sniper operated at Novhorodske.
In Mariupol direction, Shyrokyne remains the hottest spot. Positions of Ukrainian marines were assaulted with grenade launchers, an anti-aircraft missile system, 120 mm mortars, a tank, and Grad-P MLRS. Defenders of Marinka came under tank and mortar fire. Krasnohorivka area was impacted with 122 mm artillery systems and 120 mm mortars. Vodiane and Novotoroitske area was shelled with large caliber machine guns and grenade launchers.
In Luhansk direction, the enemy used 120 mm mortars and large caliber machine guns to shell Ukrainian positions in Novozvanivka. Defenses of Krymske, Popasna, and Novotoshkivka were impacted with grenade launchers and machine guns.
"To suppress the fire activities of the enemy, Ukraine fighters opened fire numerous times," the report says.
As reported, Russian troops attacked ATO forces' positions 84 times on March 22.
