As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press center on its Facebook page.
"Over the past 24-hour period, 84 attacks were recorded," the report reads.
In Mariupol direction, the largest number of attacks was recorded at Shyrokyne. The enemy employed 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, IFV weapon, grenade launchers of various systems, and large caliber machine guns. Artillery systems of 122 mm caliber and Grads-P were employed by the Russian troops upon strongholds of Ukrainian marines stationed at Vodiane. Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Hnutove, and Chermalyk came under grenade launcher and large caliber machine gun fire. In Marinka, a sniper was operating.
In Donetsk direction, Avdiivka was the hottest spot. Russian terrorist troops shelled its defenders with mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns, and anti-tank guided missiles. At Zaitseve, positions of Ukrainian defenders were impacted with tube artillery of 152 mm caliber. Grenade launchers and large caliber machine guns were employed upon Luhanske, Troitske, and Verkhniotoretske.
In Luhansk direction, the fiercest attacks were aimed at defenders of Novozvanivka that came under 120 mm mortar, grenade launcher, and machine gun fire. Positions at Krymske came under 82 mm mortar fire. Stanytsia Luhanska was impacted with grenade launchers and small arms.
Given the situation, Ukrainian military opened retaliation fire.
As reported, Russian militants attacked Ukraine's positions 76 times on March 21.
