 Grads, tanks, 152 mm amd 122 mm artillery: Russian troops attacked Ukraine positions 60 times yesterday, - Staff

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area remains calm but controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the ATO Staff's press center on Facebook.

"Over the past 24-hour period, Russian terrorist troops attacked positions of Ukrainian defenders 60 times," the report says.

Mariupol direction was the hottest yesterday, where the enemy infantry attacked Ukraine marines' strongpoints at Vodiane in the morning. Having received a fire rebuff, the enemy launched attacks with Grads and 152 mm and 122 mm artillery.

Large caliber weapon also impacted marine positions at Lebedynske and Talakivka. Defenders of Shyrokyne, Mykolaivka, Novotroitske, and Krasnohorivka came under 120 mm and 82 mm mortar fire. The enemy employed small arms, large caliber machine guns and grenade launchers of various systems upon defenses of Shyrokyne, Vodiane, Novotroitske, and Hnutove. In Shyrokyne, Russian terrorist troops shelled Ukrainian marines from an IFV and a tank.

In Donetsk direction, Russian occupants' fire impacted ATO forces' defenses at Butivka mine, Luhanske and Kamianka. Positions at Avdiivka were shelled from machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars, and later a tank.

In the Luhansk region at Troitske, Novozvanivka, and Novooleksandrivka area, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions using grenade launchers, large caliber machine guns, and small arms. Defenders of Triokhizbenka were assaulted with anti-tank guided missiles.

Earlier, the enemy attacked Ukraine Armed Forces' positions 50 times on March 19.
