Four servicemen were killed over the past 24 hours and three were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone, Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.
Pro-Russian militants fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for about 112 times, including from heavy weapons.
In the Mariupol sector, the militants mortared Ukrainian positions at Lebedynske, Shyrokyne, Hnutove and Vodiane with 120 and 122 mm shells. Strongholds near Talakivka and Chermalyk came under 120 mm mortar fire. The militants fired at Marinka and Krasnohorivka from grenade launchers, 82 and 120 mm mortars, as well as from 122 and 152 mm artillery.
In the Donetsk sector, the militants launched 10 attacks over Ukrainian forces near Avdiivka, using heavy weapons, tanks and 120 mm mortars. Stara Avdiivka residential area came under militants' fire. Ukrainian strongholds near Opytne and Novhorodske were mortared with 82 mm shells. Luhanske was hit with 122 mm artillery systems, mortars, IFV weaponry and anti-tank grenade launchers. The militants also mortared positions of the ATO forces near Verkhniotoretske and Nevelske.
In the Luhansk sector, Russian hybrid forces fired from mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers in the vicinity of Novozvanivka, Slavne and Katerynivka.
