Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman said speaking at the 13th Annual Ukraine Investor Conference, Censor.NET reports citing the premier's Twitter page.
"We are optimistic about 2017. But there are threats of economic growth being stifled due to the blockade in the east of Ukraine," he wrote.
He stressed the government should take systematic efforts to ensure sustainable economic growth that will influence the quality of life of citizens.
On March 15, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine imposed a temporary ban on the movement of goods across the demarcation line in the Donbas. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said the only exception was humanitarian aid supplied by Ukrainian and international organizations.
