 Builders found arms cache while repairing house entrance in Kyiv, - National Police. PHOTOS

Workers found an arms cache as they were replacing windows in the entrance hall of an apartment house at Chokolivskyi Boulevard in Kyiv today.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the National Police Communications Department, the law enforcers seized a handgun, a Kalashikov rifle, about 200 cartridges of various calibers, and a hand grenade from the cache.

The confiscated weapons were taken for examination. The police are searching for the arsenal owner.

The information on the incident was included in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations under article 263 (illegal possession of arms, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
