"In response to numerous media requests about Yulia Samoylova, I want to emphasize: the SBU will study the issue and take a weighted decision regarding her entry into the territory of Ukraine," she wrote.
Hitlianska noted that the SBU's line will be based exclusively on the norms of Ukrainian legislation and the interests of national security.
"We'll announce the results soon," Hitlianska said.
As previously reported, Yulia Samoylova will represent Russia at the upcoming Eurovision 2017 Song Contest in Kyiv with the song Flame Is Burning. The singer is known to have given concerts in occupied Crimea.
