 Russian sabotage-reconnaissance unit tripped mine in Luhansk region

The militants have become more active in the Luhansk region. The sabotage-reconnaissance units are plotting terrorist activities.

Local police took all precautions against militants' provocations, Tetiana Pohukai, spokesman of the National Police in the Luhansk region wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

According to operative sources, the militants' sabotage-reconnaissance units are preparing terrorist acts in the Luhansk region. It was reported of a Russian sabotage-reconnaissance unit that tripped a mine near the village of Zholobok. Four Russian servicemen were killed and three more soldiers got wounded.

Pohukai confirmed that the situation became tenser along the front line in the Luhansk region. The militants actively use Grad rocket systems, tanks, IFVs, as well as 122 mm and 152 mm guns, firing at Popasna, Novoaidar, and Stanytsia Luhanska districts of the region.

It was reported about 75 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area over the past 24 hours. In the Luhansk sector, the militants fired at Valuiske from small arms and machine guns, while Katerynivka, Bohuslavske, Novooleksiivka, and Popasna were mortared.
