 Avdiivka deenergized after militants' shelling, - Zhebrivskyi

The town of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region was left without electricity again due to the militants' shelling.

Head of the Donetsk civil-military administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"In Avdiivka, the power supply line was again damaged today at about 2:30 p.m. The town, the Coke plant, and the DFS remain without power. According to the developed algorithm, we are connecting the objects of the town to alternative energy sources. We applied for a repair work at the power transmission line to the JCCC [Joint Center on Control and Coordination - Ed.]," he wrote.

On March 5, a 110 kV high-voltage power transmission line was damaged around Avdiivka, having deenergized the town, the coke plant and the Donetsk filtration station (DFS) that provide Avdiivka with water and heating. Repair teams restored electric power supply on March 7.
