 Number of heavy weapon uses in Donbas increased by 230 percent, - OSCE's Hug

The number of heavy weapon uses in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Ukraine's east has increased by 230 percent over the past week.

This was announced by Deputy Chief Monitor of OSCE SMM in Ukraine Alexander Hug at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Over the past week, the security situation deteriorated, he said. The number of heavy weapon uses, including tanks, mortars, artillery and MLRSes, has increased by 230 percent. 400 cases of MLRS uses is disturbing, Hug said.
